Someone with a healthy prayer life, is better able to deal with and handle disappointments and setbacks much easier than one who has an unhealthy prayer life. A person with a healthy prayer life also knows the power of prayer. Talking to God on a regular basis, allows us to remain stable through the many seasons of life.
We can pray powerful and effective prayers for health, healing, and wholeness, in the lives of others and ourselves. Yet, to do so we must remember to:
- pray boldly: “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16
- ask in Jesus name: “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” John 16:24
- pray in faith: “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” Matthew 21:22
When we pray, we release into the atmosphere the power of heaven, and will of God into our lives. And always remember this….However God answers our prayer, praise Him. Because no matter how He chooses to answer, we are changed from within, and Father knows best.
