I will abundantly bless her [Zion’s] provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. Psalm 132:15
Father God chose to make His home in Zion forever, where King David’s descendants would rule under His Law until Christ’s coming. In return for Zion’s faithfulness, He promised to amply provide for the city’s citizens, even satisfying the poor with bread. Not one person would be left out in His chosen home.
Now the temple is gone, but Jesus still lives in our hearts, and the promise still stands. One thing is certain, God will always provide for us one way or another. For those who love Him. For anyone that may be struggling with the promises of God, be encouraged. May you have the faith to never worry about being provided for, He loves us more than many of us love ourselves, and has promised to care for us.
