“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.”(Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
Through the years I’ve appreciated innumerable times when friends have helped to lift me up and share my burden. I too, have always tried to be that same kind of friend, that I too expect of others. There is nothing like friendship. Absolutely nothing.
We were designed to be interdependent.
Friendship is one of God’s greatest gifts and we should hold tight to our true friends. When we have a friend, part of our duty is to watch them carefully. We need to be there when they fall, hurt, cry, and laugh.
And for those of us with those true friendships, we know that they will be there for us when we need the same. With nothing ever expected in return. Just a heart of love and devotion!
Life’s roads can get pretty bumpy. We should never try and go it alone.
But remember this….in order to have a friend, we must first be a friend.
Are you a true friend?
I Thank the Lord, for my dearest Friendships!
