Fresh Insight and Understanding

“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations 3:22-23 NLT

May we all approach the new year with fresh insight and new understanding.

This is easier said than done, but we shouldn’t carry any burden from day-to-day much less year-to-year. Quiet your heart and mind in the presence and fellowship of Jesus Christ, who is already there.

Let Him renew you, and send you into the new year with newness of mind.

2015 will be filled with New beginnings.

“Praise the Lord.” Psalm 150:1

Bright and Morning Star

What better way to start a day than with the One who is the Beginning!

Jesus Christ made the world, placed the stars in the heavens, put the planets in motion in the galaxy, formed the sun, and created the beauty of every sunset and the glory of each and every sunrise.

He is the “Bright and Morning Star” and knows how to start our day off right.

Yes, each day that we are allowed to wake up, He encourages us with His promises. Covered with new mercies, assurance of grace, and renewed with His Spirit.

“His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 NKJV

I’d Rather Have Jesus

As wonderful as it is to have Jesus’ blessings in our lives, how much MORE wonderful it is to have Jesus!

Jim Reeves- I’d Rather Have Jesus Lyrics

I’d rather have Jesus than silver and gold
I’d rather be His than riches untold
I’d rather have Jesus than houses or land
I’d rather be led by His nail pierced hands

Than to be the king of a best domain
And beheld in sins dread sway
I’d rather have Jesus
Than anything this world affords today

I’d rather have Jesus than worldly applause
I’d rather be faithful to His dear cause
I’d rather have Jesus than world wide things
Yes, I’d rather be true to His holy name

And to be the king of a best domain
And beheld in sins dread sway
I’d rather have Jesus
Than anything this world affords today
