For most of us, the pattern is unmistakable: the moment that we face a major obstacle, we fall helplessly to our knees and plead with God to lighten the load-or even change the circumstances if possible altogether. We beat on the door of Heaven until we get an answer to our desperate plea for help. And somehow with the answer, however it may come….also comes growth.
Hard times are a part of life, we can’t escape them. However, we can grow by experiencing them. When we allow dark seasons to drive us to our knees, we realize that we aren’t wading through the valley of despair alone. No! God is there walking beside us and ordering each and every step along the way.
During these times our faith is being awakened, and our resolve is being strengthened too. The result is a lift of our spirit, as we totally trust Him for deliverance.
We can be fully persuaded that God is always faithful! Always!
A life in unison with God doesn’t guarantee a life free of pain, sorrow, and disappointment. Yet, it does guarantee that we will grow from the season a better person than we were before.
If you are going through a season of “trial and tribulation”. Don’t let it get you down, except on your knees.
But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
