Just To Let Thy Father…..

imagesFZXKTSIX

JUST to let Thy Father do what He will;
Just to know that He is true, and be still.
Just to follow, hour by hour, as He leadeth;
Just to draw the moment’s power, as it needeth.
Just to trust Him, this is all. Then the day will
surely be
Peaceful, whatso’er befall, bright and blessed, calm
and free.

Just to let Him speak to thee, through His Word,
Watching, that His voice may be clearly heard.
Just to tell Him everything, as it rises,
And at once to bring to Him all surprises.
Just to listen, and to stay where you cannot miss His
voice,
This is all! and thus today, you, communing, shall
rejoice.

Just to trust, and yet to ask guidance still;
Take the training or the task, as He will.
Just to take the loss or gain, as He sends it;
Just to take the joy or pain as He lends it.
He who formed thee for His praise will not miss the
gracious aim;
So today, and all thy days, shall be moulded for
the same.

Just to leave in His dear hand little things;
All we cannot understand, all the stings.
Just to let Him take the care sorely pressing;
Finding all we let Him bear changed to blessing.
This is all! and yet the way marked by Him who
loves thee best:
Secret of a happy day, secret of His promised rest.

The King of My Life

He is the only King who touched my soul.
In his arms, I found my self whole.
He pulls me up when I was down.
He saves my soul in flaming lawn.

Through His Father, the Sovereign God.
He was sent in Earth with all His love.
By the womb of woman with faith and trust,
A child was born ,brought the message from God.

He is the light that shines my way.
The inspiration to face every battle.
He is the strength when I am weak.
He is the closest friend I used to speak.

Whenever rain pour down the sky.
I thank God when he sees me cry.
I remember the love that so divine.
When He sent to us His begotten son.

Aiyah  de Torres

“In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness. Bow down Your ear to me, Deliver me speedily; Be my rock of refuge, A fortress of defense to save me.  For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me.” Psalm 31: 1-3

Service To God

I ASKED the Lord to let me dohy
Some mighty work for Him;
To fight amid His battle hosts,
Then sing the victor’s hymn.
I longed my ardent love to show,
But Jesus would not have it so.

He placed me in a quiet home
Whose life was calm and still,
And gave me little things to do,
My daily round to fill;
I could not think it good to be
Just put aside so silently.

Small duties gathered round my way,
They seemed of earth alone;
I, who had longed for conquests bright
To lay before His throne,
Had common things to do and bear,
To watch and strive with daily care.

So then I thought my prayer unheard,
And asked the Lord once more
That He would give me work for Him
And open wide the door–
Forgetting that my Master knew
Just what was best for me to do.

Then quietly the answer came:
“My child, I hear thy cry;
Think not that mighty deeds alone
Will bring thee victory.
The battle has been planned by Me,
Let daily life thy conquests see.”

God Moves In A Mysterious Way

God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea,
And rides upon the storm.

Deep in unfathomable mines
Of never-failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs,
And works His sovereign will.bigstock-worship-234208.jpg

Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take,
The clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy, and shall break
In blessings on your head.

Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.

His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.

Blind unbelief is sure to err,
And scan his work in vain;
God is His own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.

William Cowper

Let Me Find…

Let me find youkristamcgeebooks
Where you hide
Behind closed door
In your lonely room.
Let me brush aside
Your tousled hair,
Wipe the tears
From off your cheek;
See into your lonely heart
And lift the pain.
Let me find you.

Let me find you
Standing in that place alone;
Crowds around you –
No one seeing,
No one feeling.
Let me look into
Your lonely eyes –
Make them smile,
Reflecting mine;
Make them shine.
Let me find you.

I am love,
Sent from God
For everyone.
I am your right.
I am your gift
To lead you up
From out the night.
Don’t give up.
There’s someone out there
To fill your cup.
Let me find you.

Where Could I Go From You

Read: Psalm 139:1-18

This is such an awesome Psalm. So much is said here. God knows everything about us, and He has searched us thoroughly and understands and knows all our thoughts. He knows how we will respond to things. Nothing we do or say could ever surprise Him. There is nowhere we can go to get away from Him, or to hide from Him. He knows where we are at all times. I find that quite comforting to know. He loves us so much that He would be that concerned for us. He is always there to guide us, and to lead us (v: 10). livingwater2

He knitted us together in our Mothers womb. We were, “…intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery].” (v: 15) I love that description. We are like a beautiful embroidery the Lord has woven. He saw our unformed substance, while we were being formed in the womb. All our days were written in His book, before we were even born (v: 16). How very special we are to the Lord. He has such an awesome plan for each of us. We are not here by accident. We have a purpose and a destiny in God. We are here for a reason. God has a dream and a vision that He has placed in each one of us to fulfil.

How precious are His thoughts toward us. They out number the sand (v: 17-18). Isn’t that incredible? God must think about us all the time. This really struck me as I was reading this passage. To know we are on God’s mind that much. That He could care and be concerned with our lives that much, is such a comforting thing to know. What love is that!

May we today have a deeper sense of God’s presence with us wherever we may be, wherever we may go, whatever we may be doing today. Take comfort in knowing that God is thinking of you and is always with you.

M.S. Lowndes

“…For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!].” ~ Hebrews 13:5b (AMP)

Where could I go from your spirit?
And why would I want to hide?
For you care so much about me, Lord,
And are always by my side.

Delicate Strands-Hand Crafted

Delicate strands knitted together with love
Created by the master artist above
Each and every thread is unique
More valuable than any antique

Every fiber is crafted a certain way
Yes, He is the potter and we are the claypotterhands
Each and everyone is designed by God
Placed in the womb leading to the path he’ll trod

There are no imperfections and no mistakes
He crafted one and all for the road they would take
He knew you before He ever placed you in the womb
Knows all about you; doesn’t have to assume

He knew where you’d live and your destiny
Knew the type of person you’d grow up to be
Every life He crafted with His hands
Knew how you’d fit right into His plans

There are no accidents in this life you lead
There’s a reason for everything even when you bleed
Every motion that we make has a reason in time
As well as every rocky road and hill we climb

God knows the ways of our heart
He gives choices as to the life we’ll impart
He loves us all unconditionally as a father should
But He will never make you follow even though He could

Precious children that He knitted one by one
Hoping one day they will accept Him through His Son
Rejoicing in the day He can bring us all home
Where His children will never more have to roam.

As You Go Through Life

Don’t look for the flaws as you go through life;
And even when you find them,
It is wise and kind to be somewhat blind,
And look for the virtue behind them;
For the cloudiest night has a hint of light
Somewhere in its shadows hiding;
It’s better by far to hunt for a star,
Than the spots on the sun abiding.

The current of life runs ever away
To the bosom of God’s great ocean.
Don’t set your force ‘gainst the river’s course,
And think to alter its motion.
Don’t waste a curse on the universe,
Remember, it lived before you;
Don’t butt at the storm with your puny form,
But bend and let it go o’er you.

The world will never adjust itself
To suit your whims to the letter,
Some things must go wrong your whole life long,
And the sooner you know it the better.
It is folly to fight with the Infinite,
And go under at last in the wrestle.
The wiser man shapes into God’s plan,
As water shapes into a vessel.       – Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Life of Faith

th-39

Fret not thyself in any wise” (Ps. xxxvii. 8).

      A life was lost in Israel because a pair of human hands were laid unbidden upon the ark of God. They were placed upon it with the best intent to steady it when trembling and shaking as the oxen drew it along the rough way, but they touched God’s work presumptuously, and they fell paralyzed and lifeless.

      Much of the life of faith consists in letting things alone. If we wholly trust an interest to God we can keep our hands off it, and He will guard it for us better than we can help Him. “Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him.

      Fret not thyself in any wise because of him that prospereth in the way, because of the man that bringeth wicked devices to pass.” Things may seem to be going all wrong, but He knows as well as we; and He will arise in the right moment if we are really trusting Him so fully as to let Him work in His own way and time.

      There is nothing so masterly as inactivity in some things, and there is nothing so hurtful as restless working, for God has undertaken to work His sovereign will.

I Refuse

I refuse to be discouraged, To be sad, or to cry;
I refuse to be downhearted, and here’s the reason why:
I have a God who’s mighty, Who’s sovereign and supreme;
I have a God who loves me, and I am on His team.
He is all-wise and powerful. Jesus is His name;
Though everything is changeable, My God remains the same.
My God knows all that’s happening; Beginning to the end;
His presence is my comfort; He is my dearest Friend.
When sickness comes to weaken me, To bring my head down low,
I call upon my mighty God; Into His arms I go.
When circumstances threaten to rob me of my peace;
He draws me close unto His breast, Where all my strivings cease.
When my heart melts within me, and weakness takes control;
He gathers me into His arms, He soothes my heart and soul.
The great “I AM” is with me. My life is in His hand.
The “Son of the Lord” is my hope. It’s in His strength I stand.
I refuse to be defeated. My eyes are on my God;
He has promised to be with me, As through this life I trod.
I’m looking past all my circumstances, To Heaven’s throne above;
My prayers have reached the heart of God I’m resting in His love.
I give God thanks in everything. My eyes are on His face;
The battle’s His, the victory mine; He’ll help me win the race.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!!!

Pass it on!
