A Perfect Trust

trustO BLESSED peace of a perfect trust,
My loving God, in Thee;
Unwavering faith, that never doubts
Thou choosest best for me.

Best, though my plans be all upset;
Best, though the way be rough;
Best, though mine earthly store be scant;
In Thee I have enough.

Best, though my health and strength be gone,
Though weary days be mine,
Shut out from much that others have;
Not my will, Lord, but Thine!

And e’en though disappointments come,
They, too, are best for me,
To wean me from a clam’ring world,
And lead me nearer Thee.

O blessed peace of a perfect trust
That looks away from all;
That sees Thy hand in everything,
In great events or small;

That hears Thy voice—a Father’s voice—
Directing for the best:—
O blessed peace of a perfect trust,
A heart with Thee at rest!

In Thee, O LORD, do I put my trust — Psa. 31:1.

I’ve shut the door on Yesterday,
It’s sorrows and mistakes.
I’ve locked within its gloomy walls
Past failures and heartaches.

And now I throw the key away,
To seek another room,
And furnish it with hope and smiles
And every springtime bloom.

No thought shall enter this Abode
That has a hint of pain;
And envy, malice and distrust
Shall never entrance gain.

I’ve shut the door on Yesterday
And thrown the key away –
Tomorrow holds no fear for me
Since I have found Today.

Enjoy Life

Life’s too short to be wasted.
It passes just once, so make the most out of it.
Live life the way you want it to be.
Live it to the fullest, feel free!

Live as the sun shines in the sky.
Live as high as the birds can fly.
Live as the colors of a rainbow.imagesZHGH5XS4Live as far as the clouds can go.

Never waste it with worthless doubts and fears,
With insecurities and useless tears.
Remember that what couldn’t tear you makes you strong.
Put away frustrations, sing your own song!

Believe in what you can do.
The world is round; it’s all up to you.
Think fast, act now!
Time is gold; it couldn’t be renewed.

Value experiences, learn from mistakes.
Improve for the better, live for others.
Do what is right and what is best.
Always be yourself, unique from the rest.

Laugh as if there’s no tomorrow.
Dance as though you’ll never get through.
Love with all your heart and soul.
Sing like you’re on the top of the world.

Forget the money, the root of all evil.
Treasure your loved ones; you’re blessed they’re still here.
Strengthen your faith, live with God.
The best things in life are for free, so why not?!

Right Was The Pathway

LIGHT after darkness,
Gain after loss,
Strength after suffering,
Crown after cross.
Sweet after bitter,th-70
Song after sigh,
Home after wandering,
Praise after cry.

Sheaves after sowing,
Sun after rain,
Sight after mystery,
Peace after pain.
Joy after sorrow,
Calm after blast,
Rest after weariness,
Sweet rest at last.

Near after distant,
Gleam after gloom,
Love after loneliness,
Life after tomb.
After long agony
Rapture of bliss!
Right was the pathway
Leading to this!

Life And All Of Its Beauty

The future is too far away to dream of.
The past is too far behind to dwell on.Image result for life and its beauty
The world is too big to go unnoticed.
Nature is too beautiful to be passed by.

The present was meant to be lived in.
The world was meant to be cared for.
Nature was meant to be appreciated.
Life was meant to be enjoyed.

Love the present,
Love the world,
Love nature,
Love life.

Another Year For Thee

Dear Master, may it be,
In thought and word and action,ds
Another year for Thee!
Another year of leaning
Upon Thy loving breast,
Where heartaches, pain and sorrow
Are lost in happy rest.

Another year of proving
Thy holy, blessed will,
To find my joy in doing,
And in Thy hand hold still;
Another year of service,
To prove to Thee my love;
Another year of training
For greater works above.

Another year of trials
And the blessings that they bring;
Another year’s protection
‘Neath the shadow of Thy wing.
Another year of gladness!
Dear Master, may it be,
In living and in dying,
Another year for Thee!

Hour of Temptation

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth–Rev. 3: 10.

This is the special reward of those who are running the race with patient endurance in the present time, in the Laodicean period. While it was not our privilege to escape the hour of temptation, it is our privilege to have a counter-balancing special blessing as a result of living in the time of our Lord’s parousia (presence). We may have His fellowship, His instruction, His dispensing of spiritual food which is now “meat in due season,” in a manner and to a degree in which none of the faithful of past periods enjoyed these. But as we might expect, this greatest favor is correspondingly offset by the subtlety and severity of the trials of this hour of temptation coming upon the whole world. If ever patient endurance was necessary it is necessary now.

God’s Greatness

God is beauty and splendour,
Awesome and magnificentuntitled
He’s fill of awesome wonder
And is wholly omnipotent

But despite God’s greatness,
He always has time for us,
Nothing is too great or small
That He won’t want to touch

So praise Him for His greatness
And everything He is,
But also for the little things
That we so often miss.

God Moves In A Mysterious Way

God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea,
And rides upon the storm.

Deep in unfathomable mines
Of never-failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs,
And works His sovereign will.bigstock-worship-234208.jpg

Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take,
The clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy, and shall break
In blessings on your head.

Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.

His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.

Blind unbelief is sure to err,
And scan his work in vain;
God is His own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.

William Cowper
